At Backwell Tennis Club we’re firm believers that tennis is an amazing sport which combines physical exercise with fun and social interaction, and can be enjoyed by anyone of any age or ability, irrespective of why you want to play and whether you’ve played before.

If you’re a beginner, or you're returning to tennis, or a regular player, or attending as a family, our Open Day will give you all the opportunity to try tennis in a fun and relaxed environment.

Mini & Junior Tennis

Suitable for ages 5-13, no matter what your ability.  Hit balls, have fun, and be inspired by our coaches!  Rackets available to use.

2pm  | 4pm  Adult Coaching & Cardio

Try our adult coaching (age 14+) & cardio taster session. Suitable for all abilities. Rackets available to use.

3pm  |  Walking Tennis

A tennis derivative emphasising shot making rather than mobility... take it at your own pace! Suitable for all abilities with rackets available.

What if I haven't booked a session online?

If you decide to attend our Open Day at the last minute then you’ll still be very welcome!  We can’t promise we’ll be able to fit you into specific coaching activities but there'll still be plenty to enjoy on the day (tennis related and cakes!)

Where is the Open Day?
